Australia has evacuated another 1,200 people from Afghanistan.
Australian citizens, Afghans and other nationals have been airlifted out of Kabul on seven flights.
The Prime Minister says Australia has evacuated more than three times the expected number from Afghanistan.
Scott Morrison also says the support won’t stop once the evacuees arrive here.
“What we have to provide for, as you can imagine the severe trauma that people have been going through over these many months and particularly the circumstances prior to their departure,” said Mr Morrison.
The Prime Minister said access to the airport is extremely challenging and Kabul remains a highly dangerous environment.
As the situation deteriorates, Foreign Affairs Minister, Marise Payne, is urging people to stay put until further notice.
Ms Payne also said, Australian forces are determined to rescue as many people as possible.
