Tennis world number one Ash Barty is through to the Australian Open quarter finals for a third consecutive year.
The Aussie defeated American Shelby Rogers for the second time in two weeks.
Barty prevailed 6-3 6-4 in 71 minutes.
Barty is yet to drop a set for the tournament, and says she won’t be satisfied until she wins the title at Melbourne Park.
“Oh, we’re not done yet,” she says.
“Obviously it’s exciting to be in another quarter final of a grand slam, particularly here in Australia.”
“If we’d looked at the way that we were preparing during our pre-season, to have the start that we’ve had so far is really encouraging – but [we’re] certainly not satisfied with where we’re at, at the moment.”
“We’ll keep chipping away and keep trying to do the right things to progress as far as we can.”
Barty will next meet 25th seed Karolina Muchova.
Elsewhere in the women’s singles draw, Hsieh Su-wei and Naomi Osaka will meet for a spot in the last four, while Serena Williams takes on Simona Halep.
In the men’s competition, Grigor Dimitrov will face Aslan Karatsev and Novak Djokovic plays sixth seed Alexander Zverev.
