British lawyers are expressing concern over the arrest of a Christian minister for preaching on the streets of London.
Canadian pastor, David Lynn was detained outside a London underground station, after a female bystander accused him of making homophobic comments.
Premier reports, he denied calling a homosexual lady “perverse” and “sinful”.
Pastor Lynn said he told shoppers, love can only be truly found through a right relationship with Jesus.
The Christian Legal Centre said he was arrested without the opportunity of giving his account of what happened.
CLC said the police released Mr Lynn, admitting they were wrong to arrest him.
Legal advisor, Andrea Williams said their readiness to arrest him is another example of the freedom of street preachers being curtailed.
