Christians are being urged to think about how they can intentionally bring about a more just world, through their everyday lives.
TEAR Australia is holding its 2019 Justice Conference in Melbourne on November 15 and 16, with a focus on the church’s call to stop suffering and promote equity.
TEAR Australia Artist Ambassador Joel McKerrow has told our newsroom, justice is for all Christians – not just those with a particular interest in it.
“We’re really pushing for people to work out how that does look … in their everyday life – in how they engage with the world, in how they engage with their vocation and their career … even what they do with their waste … and how they shop. What do they spend their money and their time [on]?” he says.
The content of the conference is based on the Biblical book of Amos.
