Christians in Bosnia are generously working to assist the surge of refugees in the country.
So many people are arriving every day that they are found sleeping under every available building doorway in town, with little more than a blanket or a sleeping bag.
Missionary Katie Sasser, says Bosnians who remember the war years know what it is to experience homelessness and desperation.
She says many locals are doing as much as they can with what little they have.
Mrs Sasser told AG News, local churches and parachurch organizations are working in partnership to best serve the growing crisis.
With colder weather coming, shelter and cold weather supplies are fast becoming urgent needs.
The Bosnian government is already hard pressed to cope and is finding it increasingly difficulty to respond to the situation.
