A Canadian MP is questioning government decisions that reflect anti-Semitic and anti-Christian bias in Canada.
Conservative Party member Candice Bergen says Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s insistence on a liberal ‘values test’ has cut government aid to churches, but supports Muslim groups opposed to the US and Israel.
CBN News reports, a Christian Bible camp in Alberta recently lost Canada Summer Jobs funding for refusing to sign a ‘values test’ in support of abortion.
Ms Bergen said more than $20,000 in taxpayer funds had been given to a Muslim group whose leader has called for the eradication of Israelis, telling the Jewish community they would leave in body bags.
In Parliament she asked Prime Minister Trudeau why funding was given to anti-Semitic extremists promoting hatred, but denied to faith groups wanting to help those in need.
