The prayer campaign Thy Kingdom Come, which started in the UK four years ago, has now reached almost 90 per cent of the world’s countries.
A new report shows millions of Christians from 65 different traditions and denominations have now taken part in the movement which sees people praying for friends to come to know Jesus.
A survey of 2,600 people showed two thirds of people who took part this year planned to follow up by talking about faith to the people they were praying for.
Seventy per cent said they felt more encouraged to share their faith while 99 per cent said they want to take part again next year.
Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who helped initiate Thy Kingdom Come, has told Premier News he is looking forward to all God will do in answer to prayer.
