An Israeli tour guide is planning an 1,100 kilometre hike to give tourists a better insight into his country.
Most tours are still cancelled because of the pandemic.
So Josh Levinson will walk the Israel National Trail and film his journey along the entire length of the country.
He will hike from the Lebanese and Syrian borders in the far north all the way to Eilat in the far south.
He will also visit all important Christian and Jewish attractions and historic sites off the trail.
Mr Levinson told the Jerusalem Post, the film will be the most comprehensive online tour ever taken in Israel.
He anticipates the trip will take him about four months.
The tour guide plans to post the video tour on social media, so that everyone who can’t make it to Israel can see the country through his eyes.
He’s crowd-funding to pay for the venture.
