Mission Organisation’s Different Approach

Thursday, March 14th, 2019

A mission organisation is shaking things up with how it helps the Church get involved with Christ’s Great Commission.

Global Disciples says most forms of mission challenge involve the “pray, give, go” methods – but listening to church leaders, Global Disciples found that this formula applied to a limited number of people.

The organisation’s Jerry Meadows has told Mission Network News, the first question they put to Christians is, “How would you like to get involved with missions?”

He says they begin with people’s interests and what involvement they already have in their church.

Global Disciples has assisted people through sport, hobbies, skills, and other interests, leading the average church attendee into a dynamic mission ministry.
