A new study has found four in five Australians are open to spiritual conversations.
McCrindle Research, on behalf of Alpha Australia, found that younger generations are the most open to having a conversation that may involve views other than their own.
National Director of Alpha Australia Melinda Dwight has told My Christian Daily, many Australians have concluded that “individualism and materialism are ultimately deeply dissatisfying.”
The survey of 1,000 Australian adults, found that one third of those aged 57 or over said they would not be open to a spiritual conversation about views held other than their own.
My Christian Daily reports, Alpha Australia has seen more than 500,000 people attending since it launched to explore the Christian faith in a safe and welcoming setting.
