New Christian Resources for Adults With Intellectual Disability

Saturday, May 23rd, 2020

Churches and families are being offered a new free resource to minister to adults with an intellectual disability during COVID-19 restrictions.

The Jesus Club has been serving for 13 years in Sydney, supported by the organisation WeBelong Inc.

The Jesus Club operations manager Josh Reid says their new Online Bible Lesson Pack is designed to be delivered via videoconferencing platforms such as Zoom or Skype.

The lesson pack contains Bible Lessons, songs, Buddy Worksheets, YouTube videos, craft activities, and games.

The first lesson “Do Not Worry” is now available.

The ministry also operates a comprehensive training program to help churches start and grow a disability ministry.
