A new program in Bangladesh answers more than a decade of prayer.
Pastor William says, he’d been asking God for 15 or 16 years to send them somebody who can understand the plight of the local people.
The answer was provided through FARMS International who are now helping believers grow their own food in sustainable ways.
Pastor William told Mission Network News FARMS is helping locals find an identity and hope for the future:
“It will help them because it will give them a growth, not only financially but also socially… and they can be a certain example to the other people,” said Pastor William.
Bangladesh has one of the highest rates of poverty in the world, with 42% of the nation living below the poverty line.
