Churches will not to have to separate fully vaccinated worshippers from the unvaccinated, when New South Wales fully reopens in December.

The decision follows a petition called the Ezekiel Declaration, signed by thousands of state priests and pastors.

They said it was not possible for such a separation, both physically and spiritually.

Martin Iles of the Australian Christian Lobby told Vision Radio he welcomes the decision:

“There will not be a two-tiered society in churches.”

He says there will be minimal restrictions for churches in New South Wales with no vaccination requirements once the state opens up.

Mr Iles said Christians should pray for other states and territories to follow the New South Wales lead.
