Fans of live sport can get a dose of some action when the NRL season resumes tonight.
Brisbane will host the first game against the Parramatta Eels.
Former Broncos star Darren Lockyer has told Nine television, playing in front of an empty stadium will feel a little different to the round two match against South Sydney.
“It’s a different feeling but I’ve got to say the quality of the football and the intensity of the football was really good on the night, and I think tonight will be the same because both teams are undefeated,” he says.
“They’ve had a really good start to the season, so [there are] two points up for grabs.”
Tomorrow night it’s the Cowboys hosting the Titans followed by the Roosters against the Rabbitohs.
Saturday action will see the Warriors against the Dragons, Cronulla taking on the Wests Tigers, and Melbourne doing battle with Canberra.
Round three will be wrapped up on Sunday with Penrith against Newcastle and Manly meeting the Bulldogs.
A record global television audience for the NRL is expected for this weekend’s matches, with 300 million viewers tipped to tune in.
