South Sydney and NSW hooker Damien Cook is urging Cameron Smith to go around again next season.
Smith is weighing up whether to hang up the boots or sign on for a 20th NRL campaign.
Cook came up against the Melbourne captain last weekend.
He says the Queensland great still has a whole lot to offer.
“A big reason why [the Melbourne Storm] are winning at the moment is because of what he’s doing along with the likes of Cameron Munster,” says Cook.
“If he wants to keep playing, then he should; I don’t think anyone should be in a position to tell him otherwise.”
Cook is preparing to face Smith’s understudy tomorrow night when he lines up against on-loan Wests Tigers hooker, Harry Grant.
