A report has found three people die every day as a result of opioids.

The latest Institute of Health and Welfare report, revealed a major jump in the number of deaths from opioids in the 10 years to 2016…

showing they’re now killing at least three people, and sending about 150 to hospital every day.

That includes the use of prescription opioids such as codeine and morphine — and also illegal ones such as heroin and opium.
