Geelong legend Cameron Ling is confident Carlton will begin to show signs of improvement this AFL season.
The Blues have performed poorly in recent years, finishing no higher than 14th since 2014.
Ling has told commercial radio, he’s expecting the club’s emerging players to lead the charge.
“I’m expecting Carlton to just start marching up the ladder a little bit, and [that] we start seeing the signs of Charlie Curnow, Paddy Dow, and obviously Patty Cripps, who’s already a star, just rising that team up the ladder – not yet finals-bound,” he says.
Carlton will play Richmond in the season opener on March 21 at the MCG.
