Pastor Raphael Kujjubii is rescuing orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda.

He’s planted his King Jesus Church in a predominantly Muslim slum area of the capital Kampala.

It’s an area where the lives of blind and deaf children are not valued.

Pastor Kujjubi has offered these children and their families the gift of hope, by opening a school for the Blind and Deaf.

He told the Baptist Press that through sign language training, schooling and discipleship, they give the children an insight into their God-given potential and their future.

His church also provides education, food and a warm place to sleep for orphans.

Pastor Kujjubi’s work has opened eyes and hearts in his often troubled neighbourhood.
