An Iraqi Christian is thankful to God after being rescued from the hands of extreme persecution.
The Christian Post reports the Yazidi man was burnt alive three times and stoned by ISIS extremists, who pressured him to convert to Islam – but he says in the midst of the terror, Jesus came to him in a dream allowing him to experience a series of miracles.
The man says he was not affected by the stones being thrown at him and he did not burn despite being drenched in twenty gallons of gasoline.
He has credited Jesus with his miraculous survival.
His story is told in a new documentary called Hearts & Hands: Iraq, which sees locals share their testimonies of God’s goodness in the midst of intense persecution. Watch a clip from the film below.
