A Christian school in India has been targeted by Hindu radicals before children were forcibly removed from the premises.
The school’s founder and leader Vijay Pusuru told Morning Star News that the radicals convinced government authorities in Odisha state to destroy the property and other buildings owned by the ministry.
About 50 people demolished the school, his home, and the ministry hostel that housed around 100 children.
Children were also seized by government officials and taken into custody.
Mr Pusuru said the children struggled, wept, and pleaded not to have to leave the property.
The school was the only one within a 62-mile (approximately 100 km) radius that provided English language education.
According to the Open Doors World Watch List, India is ranked as the 10th most dangerous place for Christians.
