Russian orphans have had their days brightened after receiving gifts from a local outreach organisation.
SOAR International works in Russia to bring about change through the presentation of the Gospel message.
One way they do this is by providing Baskets of Hope for children whose families cannot afford or don’t have access to basic essentials like warm winter clothes, hygiene items and school supplies.
However SOAR International’s Becky Dwinnell has told Mission Network News it’s the Word of God that the kids get excited about.
“The first thing they look for are the bibles,” Ms Dwinell says.
“Each child gets a bible in the Russian language and it’s so call just to see their eyes light up when they get these baskets.”
Each item is bought in Russia so that the children are familiar with each gift.
