Christian Surfers International (CSI) is preaching the Gospel in 35 countries and engaging in 175 outreach missions.

Members are paddling ocean waves and reflecting the light of Jesus on sun-drenched beaches.

CSI Operations Manager, Casey Cruciano, says the sun-tanned water enthusiasts find joy on the waves, but recognise that the ultimate source of joy is Jesus whom they call the “Original Water Walker.”

Mr Cruciano told the God Reports magazine, that the surfers’ prime core value is the preaching of the Gospel.

CSI has also set up Groundswell Aid.

Through it,  the surfers aim to help alleviate poverty, restore the environment and provide disaster relief.

Mr Cruciano says they are currently helping build houses and school facilities in Mauritius.
