Thailand cave survivor

Just over a year since twelve young boys and their soccer coach were rescued from a flooded cave in Thailand, one of those boys is set to embark on a new journey.

Adun has spoken to Christian Today of his time in the Chang Rai cave, detailing how he intently prayed for rescue and how his Christian upbringing played a large part in him still being alive.

He shared how his parents wanted him to grow up with a strong faith and instilled in him from an early age the disciplines of prayer and quiet time before God.

While not sharing specific details of his time in the cave, Adun says life has been returning to normal as he finds his strength and hope in the Lord.

For Adun, a new challenge awaits, as he’s been granted a scholarship to a boarding school in New York, leaving behind his family and friends in his small village and adjusting to life in a new country.
