At least 55 US government agencies are tracking Americans who apply for exemptions on religious grounds.

The agencies have introduced nearly 60 new rules according to Christian civil rights watchdog Liberty Counsel Action.

They even keep tabs on employees or applicants seeking exemptions from working on Sundays.

Liberty Counsel cites the Treasury Department as keeping a database of all religious exemption requests and denials.

It reveals the US Army is linking the religious preferences of servicemen and women with their fingerprints and digital photos.

The watchdog says the Department of Homeland Security keeps an eye on contractors, sub-contractors, and private employees based on their religious accommodations.

The Christian Post reports Republican politicians have accused the Biden administration of ‘contempt’ towards Americans who prioritise faith in their lives.
