COVID-19 restrictions have been eased in Victorian schools as students return for Term Two.

For months, different year levels have had different rules around masks, with students in grades three to six required to wear them.

That rule has now been scrapped – kids from all grades are welcome to attend class without having to wear a mask.

Vaccine requirements for visitors have also been dropped, meaning unvaccinated parents and carers will be welcomed back onto school grounds.

The change to isolation rules across Victoria also applies to children – so if children become a close contact, they will no longer have to isolate.
