Pingrup – located in Western Australia, is a small rural town known for its agricultural and pastoral industries. It is situated in the Great Southern region of the state, surrounded by rolling hills and scenic farmland. Despite its small size, Pingrup offers a tight-knit community with a rich history, as well as a peaceful and natural environment for its residents and visitors to enjoy.
Vision’s radio station in Pingrup, WA, went to air on 25 January 2023. This is Vision’s 54th radio station out of the 100 stations 2021-2023 project and the 793rd station overall, and the first station installed in 2023.
Our amazing supporters requested this station, provided the funds and approached the Shire to host it. ACMA issued the licence in December 2022, and Hein Matthiae installed it 5 weeks later. If you live in the area or are visiting, you can tune in to 88.0 FM to access trusted Christian radio 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This frequency is one of our ‘low power’ transmissions, which means that 88.0 FM broadcasts to a 5km radius around our transmitter site in Pingrup.
