Carolyn from Townsville has a unique approach to spreading the Gospel. Rather than preaching to people directly, she uses The Word For Today and V180 magazines as well as Vision stickers to engage with different communities, especially the grey nomads travelling across Australia.
‘I’ve found it to be an extremely efficient way of evangelism,’ says Carolyn, ‘rather than just walking up to someone and trying to talk about Jesus.’ Carolyn transforms casual encounters with people into joyful and meaningful moments.
Carolyn’s approach hasn’t just impacted those she meets; it has also changed her life and the Vision Prayer team has been an integral part of her journey. ‘The prayer team has been my anchor, often in isolated places they were my only prayer partners,’ she says. This connection has inspired her passion, leading her to hand out Vision materials like stickers to kids, whose parents gladly accept.
For The Glory of God
Carolyn’s story reminds us that through small, consistent efforts, we can all make a larger impact. ‘I’m just praying that the Holy Spirit will use me for His glory,’ she says.
