When Louise Griffith’s newborn baby didn’t pass his hearing test, naturally it raised concerns. It marked the beginning of a significant journey for the family. As their son Cody grew older, they began to suspect that there might be more to the story.
Louise set off to learn everything she could about being a parent of a child on the autism spectrum. This eventually impacted her career direction and her desire to help other parents going through the same thing.
As the wife of the assistant minister, sharing with the church that her baby had a disability was exceptionally challenging. People were uncertain how to respond, but a simple letter from a 21-year-old offering prayers deeply touched Louise’s heart.
