American evangelist Will Graham has accepted an invitation to return to the Gold Coast with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association next year to share the Gospel.
The son of evangelist Franklin Graham and grandson of the legendary Billy Graham had joined more than 160 pastors and church leaders from the Gold Coast region in June. He posted at the time that: “The churches here are on fire for the Lord and passionate about proclaiming Jesus Christ throughout the region. I believe God is preparing to do something incredible. Will you join me in praying for the Gold Coast?”
In accepting the invitation, Will Graham said he had discerned two things from several encouraging notes and letters from Gold Coast church leaders. “You are a people of prayer, fervently praying for revival in the lives of family, friends and neighbours and you are unified and passionate about reaching your communities with the hope of Jesus Christ.”
He added that: “It is an honour and a privilege to be given this opportunity.”
The actual dates of his visit are still to be decided as it’s likely he will accept invitations from other Australian Christian groups to coincide with his Gold Coast return.
