Christine from Queensland faced some unimaginable challenges last year. Her 26-year-old granddaughter passed away in Japan, and her daughter battled a serious brain condition. But Christine called in to Visionathon to share how she found hope through Vision, especially during this challenging and devastating time.
‘It’s through my faith in God,’ said Christine, ‘but it was Vision also that lifted me up, gave me comfort and gave me hope. Faith is stronger than fear.’
Christine’s unwavering faith and support for Vision not only helped her family heal but also inspired her to give more each year. But for Christine, Vision was able to bring her some peace. ‘It’s just like you are family,’ said Christine. ‘I have not met any of you, but you are my family. You have helped me hold God’s hand throughout everything that I’ve gone through. And that is just a blessing.’
Vision needs your help to continue our mission. Wouldn’t you love to be part of more stories like Christine’s? Whether it’s $5 or $5000, every contribution makes a difference.
‘I just want to encourage everyone not to live in fear of giving,’ said Christine. ‘Because in the five years I’ve been giving, God has actually blessed me in my finances. And I believe it’s because of giving. And I have been able to give more and more every year’.
