Gerald Ross underwent a remarkable transformation after encountering Jesus while in prison. He is now a pastor and founder of Restore, a ministry dedicated to assisting former prisoners in their journey to reintegrate into society.
Gerald had a difficult past marred by trauma, bad decisions, and involvement in crime, which eventually led to him ending up in prison. Yet despite those difficulties, Gerald found comfort and a new direction with the help of a prison chaplain.
As he grappled with guilt, shame, and uncertainty about his future, the chaplain shared the message of forgiveness, grace, and love found in Jesus. This pivotal moment led Gerald to accept Christ, setting him on a path of surrender, transformation, and ultimately, redemption.
After his release from prison, Gerald’s faith journey continued. He became a pastor and played a significant role in the development of Restore. Thanks to the ministry’s work, many lives have been changed, relationships have been healed, and futures have been transformed.
Gerald’s story is a powerful example of how faith can make a profound impact. He recently joined us on 20Twenty to share his experience of God’s unwavering grace, turning brokenness into beauty.
