Andrew, originally from South Africa, says he depends on Vision to keep him sane during his daily 15-hour truck shifts. He particularly enjoys Rise & Shine, but now keeps Vision on for company all day.
Before finding Vision, Andrew’s long days on the road were punctuated with the sounds of mainstream radio. He discovered Vision after visiting Townsville City Church, where a recommendation from Vision’s Karen Hunt led him to start listening. Andrew says that decision changed his driving days into trips of positivity and growth.
‘My whole day is just filled with good Christian music, interesting interviews, and great testimonies from your guest speakers,’ says Andrew.
Daily Encouragement On The Road
Andrew kicks off his mornings by heading to the truck for his deliveries, starting at 7:00 am until he’s back home by 5:00 pm. Vision is his constant companion, and the daily encouragement keeps him focused on God. ‘What I love about Vision Radio is that it fills my day with positive vibes,’ says Andrew.
He enjoys listening to Neil Johnson on 20Twenty, as well as Jen Spiker and Greg Newman in the afternoons. ‘Without Vision, I doubt I would still be sane after driving a truck around Townsville 10 to 15 hours a day!’ Andrew says.
