The push for an international agreement for a Global Pandemic Treaty by the World Health Organisation (WHO) stirred opposition from citizens around the world. They see the treaty as a grab for power by Global Elitists who they believe have their own agenda to control national health policies and the individual health decisions of every citizen on the planet.
The Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, held from 27 May to 1 June 2024 was attended by International Health Ministers and officials from the 194 Member States of the WHO. The Minister for Health and Aged Care, Mark Butler attended to represent Australia, who is in full support and has signed up for the treaty.
Senators Matt Canavan, Alex Antic, Gerard Rennick were some of the 14 senators that stood up to oppose the treaty, as well as Barnaby Joyce, former Deputy Prime Minister.
Amongst the freedom fighters is George Christensen. He has served three terms in the Australian Parliament with the LNP, is the founder of Nation First and has been recently elected councillor of the Mackay Regional Council. Unrelated to his role in Mackay Regional Council, George visited Geneva during the Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly as one of Australia and CitizenGO Oceania’s representatives to oppose the Global Pandemic Treaty.
George joined Neil Johnson on 20Twenty to share the outcome of his visit to Geneva where protestors in their droves marched outside the United Nations building. While there were varying reasons for the opposition of the treaty, the terms and conditions were rejected by the majority resulting in the Pandemic Treaty being postponed until next year in 2025 to allow time for a new proposal to be drawn up.
‘There was a huge protest on the Saturday where people from all over Europe, particularly from the UK, and France came in droves to protest,’ said George. ‘You don’t see these protests so much at the front of the United Nations. You see small gatherings. But this was a full-blown march and demonstration from the peoples of the world, against this proposal.’
What’s So Sinister About a Global Pandemic Treaty?
Not everyone understands the implications of having a pandemic treaty under the authority of the WHO. Many think that after the COVID pandemic, it’s expected that the World Health Organisation will be thinking about some level of international preparation and coordinated effort to prepare and be able to resist any new big threats to humanity, despite the obvious failings of the handling of the COVID pandemic that is continuing to have negative repercussions to this day.
‘The proposal as it was originally proposed, was one that would undermine national sovereignty and also undermine personal freedoms, particularly in the space of personal health choices. I don’t think that either of those things is something that you would tolerate from a globalist organisation that’s not elected by anyone,’ said George. ‘One of the terms of the treaty was the ability of pandemic emergencies or public health emergencies to be unilaterally declared by the Director-General of the World Health Organisation, with him personally appointing a committee of experts that would oversee what will go on within nations after that emergency is declared. Things out of these recommendations that were going to be put forward were going to be legally binding under international law.’
These recommendations could be a repeat of what was imposed during COVID—subjection to quarantines, lockdowns, isolations, vaccination and mask mandates, country entry prohibitions, contact tracing, Digital ID, and all the impositions suffered during Covid19 which ultimately had no effect in stopping the virus.
The repercussions of these draconian measures are still being felt today. The courts are filled with cases of damage to human lives and businesses who were at the mercy of heavy-handed Premiers and police officials.
‘All of that is the kind of thing that could now be imposed not by your state government, not by your federal government, but by people completely removed from you in another country, sitting over there in Geneva, Switzerland, making decisions that could impact upon your nation and your personal health choices,’ said George.
The Australian Government and the Department of Health printed a flyer of frequently asked questions in response to the pandemic treaty that stated that the Australian Parliament and State parliaments and governments would still have the ability to pass laws. However, because the treaty would impose legally binding obligations on Australia, the Parliament would be required to bring in laws that would give the WHO power with the Australian Centre for Disease Control being the conduit to enforce the directions on the Australian people.
Regulation Passed in Breach of the World Health Assembly Rules
‘The World Health Organisation, to be able to craft a good press release and then tell the world that they actually did something, rather than just have something rejected, rammed through these international health regulations. One of those regulations, that was part of the pandemic treaty, was the Declaration of Public Emergencies or Public Health Emergencies by the Director-General of the World Health Organisation,’ said George. ‘That was passed as part of the International Health regulations at the last minute, and it was done under a cloud of confusion and also a cloud of controversy in that there are experts saying that the passage of that was in breach of the World Health Assembly rules because there was only about a third of member states that were actually in the room at the time of the passage of that international health regulations change.’
Time will tell whether this regulation will stay in effect, or whether it has been legally passed or not. The reality is that Australia and any organisation or member state of the World Health Organisation has the ability to opt out of the International Health Regulations in the next year. If they don’t, and they remain silent, the amendments automatically take effect in due time giving the ability to declare a pandemic emergency in your own country to Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation in Geneva.
Can the Elites Behind This Agenda Be Trusted?
‘I don’t trust any of these globalist outfits because there’s not a skerrick of democracy involved in the entire thing. None of these people are elected. None of these people are accountable to the public,’ said George. ‘You’ve got to question everything when it comes from any of these globalist bodies, whether it be the United Nations, World Health Organisation, or think tanks that are quite powerful like the World Economic Forum. They all sit in their ivory towers in Geneva dictating laws and policies for the rest of us and there is zero accountability about these organisations.’
CitizenGO Aims to Protect Global Freedom
George has been leading the CitizenGO operations in Australia. CitizenGO is a global organisation formed by 17,491,942 active citizens stopping radical lobbies from imposing their agenda on society. Their aim is to defend life, family, and freedom across the world.
‘CitizenGo has been leading the charge on the pandemic treaty issue now for more than a year. It has been there at every major summit or meeting that they’ve had, protesting and lobbying those involved in the treaty against doing it,’ said George.
Misinformation and Gaslighting
As things begin to unravel and the news of the aftermath of the pandemic mandates are being revealed, people are waking up to the misinformation that blinded many under the banner of fear. Anthony Fauci has been exposed and admitted to making up COVID rules such as social distancing and wearing masks, which proved to be useless in spreading the virus.
After much gaslighting by the medical professionals towards people and children who died or were injured by the COVID vaccination, evidence has surfaced proving the vaccines were not safe and effective as stated repeatedly by the government. Seeking any sort of compensation has been an uphill battle.
Police Called to Stop CitizenGO Protestors
People from all over the world came to Geneva to protest against the Pandemic Treaty, the United Nations and World Health Organisation, during the Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly. George reported that the CitizenGo campaigners were assembled in front of the United Nations building with their signs, placards and banners.
‘People were stopping and talking to us, taking photos. One of the major conservative US alternative media organisations, Turning Point America were interviewing us,’ said George.
The CitizenGo bright blue bus caused a stir with its signage that said: No to the Pandemic Treaty, Stop the UN Power Grab. It caught everyone’s attention on the street and was no doubt seen by every delegate that attended the World Health Assembly as it kept circling around the square outside the United Nations building. It wasn’t long before a complaint came from within the United Nations against CitizenGo who they accused of spreading propaganda. The police were called, and they took photos and recorded people’s names and passport details before moving on when they saw that everything was in order. The following day when the CitizenGO campaigners continued to protest, two police officers turned up after someone from the United Nations complained again that the protestors were disrupting the peace by being there, even though they had permits signed by the local authorities.
‘Once again, the police took names and passport details. It shows you that there’s an element within the United Nations that does not like any idea of dissent, any idea of protest, any idea of opposition to their events, their policies and programs. I became hyper paranoid at that point. I saw one guy taking photos of the bus after the police incident and thought he might be an innocent bystander just wanting to check it out,’ said George. ‘My senses went up and I observed this guy for a while, only to find out he had a UN lanyard on. Then I saw the UN security badge. So they were out in force, upset that we were there protesting their agenda.’
Conspiracy Theories Becoming Reality
While some people might think these oppositions are based on conspiracy theories, there’s been enough evidence to suggest that the hidden agendas are coming to play right before our eyes. If everyone took a little time to do their own research instead of blindly trusting the government or those in authority, they would find the evidence is there.
Slowly, our society has been tainted by left-wing ideologies over the years, with things moving rapidly since the COVID pandemic. Authorities took the window of opportunity to push their agenda full force while they had the world’s attention. The support for gender dysphoria, full-term abortions, euthanasia, transhumanism are some of the things forced on us to embrace as normal and acceptable.
We are now reaping the consequences of their actions and our inaction to protect our freedoms will result in their ultimate success to control civilians globally. The life they have planned for us definitely does not include the God of the universe.
Creating a New World Order is their aim, and as Christians we should understand what that means from a biblical perspective. Christian need to wake up and understand the dangerous, slippery slope we are on.
