The Canberra Declaration is actively participating in the GO 2023 global outreach initiative in May 2023, by praying and inviting you to take part! We urge you to pray and reach out to five people with the Gospel, and encourage your friends to do the same. Together, we aim to reach a billion people with the message of God’s love in Jesus. Let’s each do our part to impact the world.
Pray in May
We invite you to join our prayer and worship sessions in May, with the main mission of seeking revival for Australia, praying for people to come to Christ during GO Month, and supporting the global call to Pray for Israel initiated by IHOPKC. We are holding prayer sessions every night on Zoom throughout May at 8pm, and we’ll also send out daily devotions.
Ten Days of 24/7 Prayer in May: 12–22 May
From May 12 to May 22, we’ll increase the intensity of our prayers by holding ten days of 24/7 prayer. This time of prayer is called Shift the Nation, during which we’ll read the Holy Scriptures and celebrate communion. We invite you to join us on Zoom anytime during May 12-22, 24/7, and keep going at 8pm AEST every night until the end of May.
It’s important to note that May ends with the National Day of Prayer and Fasting on May 27, followed by the Global Day of Prayer For Israel on May 28. Together with 100 million Christians, we’ll pray for people in Israel to receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour and seek revival for their nation.
