Julie from Townsville found not only comfort, but a renewed sense of purpose through Vision Radio during one of the most challenging periods of her life.
For many years, Julie has been a devoted Vision listener, tuning in during her daily commutes. The uplifting music and encouraging messages have always inspired her. But it was during her recovery from a stomach cancer operation, that she relied on Vision more than ever. The journey was tough, but Julie found strength in her faith.
‘I just know that I can trust God with everything,’ Julie shared. Even in moments when she felt distant from her faith, she could look back and see God’s provision in her life. It was a marriage break-up that initially brought her back to her faith, and through all her trials, she felt God’s unwavering presence.
Julie’s story highlights the power of faith and the impact of a supportive community. Vision was crucial in her spiritual journey, reminding her of God’s love and grace during her darkest times. ‘We might walk away from Him, but He still loves us,’ she says.
Julie called in to Visionathon today to encourage others to donate. ‘Vision is wonderful to listen to,’ she says. ‘It’s really supportive and helpful to people. I pray that everyone will give from their heart.’
