By Professor Peter Miller
This is Part 6 of the 9-part series where I will continue to detail some of the prophecies in the Bible given for the ‘last days’ and the evidence of these prophecies having recently happened, are happening now or beginning to happen now. We can now witness these prophetic events happening or starting to develop so that the events prophesised are ready to come to pass during the tribulation period. Jesus said (Matthew 24:25) that he told us of these prophecies in advance so we would know ahead of time and when you see these prophecies being fulfilled, you will know the time of the end is near (Matthew 24:33).
Bible verse: Mathew 24:15, 2 Thessalonian 2:4, Daniel 9:27 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
Generally accepted interpretation: The third temple has to be rebuilt for fulfilment of Daniel, Matthew and Thessalonians 2 prophecies where the antichrist will proclaim himself to be God in that temple in Jerusalem.
Evidence of the prophecy happening: The first temple (Solomon’s temple) built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonians around 587 BC. The second temple (that Jesus visited) was destroyed by the Romans as predicted by Jesus in about 70AD. Rumours in Israel are that the preparations for the rebuilding of the third temple are ready and construction could be as short as 90 days. Yes, 3 months only. There is a railway line (Red Line) under construction now from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to allow for visitors. This third temple must be built for the prophecy of Daniel (9:27) to take place. The fact that Israel is preparing for the rebuilding of the temple and is constructing a new railway line to bring people to it is evidence that this prophecy is close to fulfilment. See:

Bible verse: Numbers 19:2 Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer without defect, in which there is no blemish, and on which a yoke has never come.
Generally accepted interpretation: In order to sanctify the land for the building of the third temple, an unblemished red heifer must be sacrificed in a certain way.
Evidence of the prophecy happening: After many, many years, five red heifers of the Biblical type have been brought to Israel (Shiloh) and are being prepared for the sanctification of the third temple site. The heifers need to be about 18 months old before sacrifice according to Jewish laws. That will be about the start of 2024. Once the temple site is sanctified by the blood of these red heifers, building of the third temple can commence. As demonstrated elsewhere, this temple must be built for the antichrist to proclaim himself as God during the 7-year tribulation period. See: https://www.christianheadlines.com/contributors/michael-foust/red-heifers-arrive-in-israel-is-it-a-signal-of-the-3rd-temple-end-times.html
In April 2024, for the Jewish Shabbat parashat Para – The Red Heifer, Deuteronomy 19:1-22 was read in synagogues in preparation for the Passover pilgrimage festival in preparations for the red Heifer conference. See: https://tickchak.co.il/60835?ref=r1
Certain special and young kohen Jews are undergoing intense instruction and training if they are to participate in the Temple Institute’s ongoing preparations of the renewal of the ashes of the red heifer. They must have came into the world via home birth, have never set foot in a hospital or cemetery, and therefore considered by halacha (Jewish law) to be of the highest level of Torah purity, having never contracted tum’at met (impurity imparted by contact with a corpse).
Bible verse: 2 Peter 3-4 Scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming?
Generally accepted interpretation: There will be mocking of Bible Prophecy and the Lord’s return.
Evidence of the prophecy happening: Increasingly, non-Christians are mocking the Bible, holding devil worship in front of our own eyes and on national television. The recent Grammys performance by Sam Smith, the Baal worship at the Commonwealth games opening ceremony at Birmingham should be sufficient evidence of how our culture is being polluted by scoffers who openly conduct devil worship. The reading of books by trans people at libraries is another scoff at Christian religion where these people not only follow their own perverted desires, but they are also trying to groom our children into the same perversions and away from Biblical principles.
Bible verse: Isaiah 17:1 Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.
Generally accepted interpretation: The continued destruction of Damascus in Syria.
Evidence of the prophecy happening: Years of fighting in Syria has left Damascus in ruins. See: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3371675/Bombed-houses-rubble-far-eye-apocalyptic-landscape-remains-one-region-Syrian-capital-Damascus.html
Bible verse: Ezekiel 38-39 Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. And I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel.
Generally accepted interpretation: These regions mentioned in the Bible are modern day areas of Russia, Iran and Turkey. The Bible predicts they will invade Israel from the North in order to plunder Israel’s wealth.
Evidence of the prophecy happening: These countries are already forming an alliance and are speaking out against Israel. It is inevitable that conflicts will occur involving these parties. Ezekiel 38 also lists countries that will form alliances against Israel. Many of these countries still exist today but over the centuries, some names have changed. For example, Magog is now the regions of Russia and central Asia including Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Turkistan, and Kazakhstan. Rosh is now central and northern regions of Russia. Meshech is now Southern Russia, Georgia and Ukraine. Tubal, Gomer and Beth-Togarmah are now incorporated within modern day Turkey. Persia is of course Iran.
Turkey’s defence minister said he planned to meet his Syrian, Russian, and Iranian counterparts in Moscow in April, 2023. See:

The next part of the series will continue to examine prophecies and provide the evidence.
