New Vision Radio Station Launch in Richmond QLD

Vision Christian Media launches Radio Station #782

Vision’s radio station at Richmond went to air on 88.0 FM on 28 July 2022. It is Vision’s 782nd radio station and 45th station launched for the 100 Stations 2021-2023 Project.

Richmond is located 1,662 km northwest of Brisbane via Toowoomba, Emerald and Charters Towers. It is 498 km west of Townsville and 406 km east of Mount Isa. This outback town has a population of 648 and is known as the Fossil Capital of Australia.

There is a 332km trail running through Richmond, known as the Australian Dinosaur Trail. Richmond is also known for the Kronosaurus Korner. Plan for a dig in one of the Fossil Hunting Sites when travelling to this township.

We are blessed that the existing host,  the Richmond Shire Council,  was more than happy to continue hosting and even signed the site agreement within a day.
