About

On this episode of Techwise, Brad Huddleston shares his insights on how technology can be misused. Using the Bible as a guide, He begins with a verse from Ephesians 5:11. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

“Solution number one I offer to solve issues connected to technology abuse,” says Brad, “is to submit to God and His Word fully.”

Brad believes that it’s crucial to acknowledge some of the downsides of technology. But it’s equally important to adhere to a strong moral code. He uses the Bible as the foundation that shapes his thoughts, beliefs, and actions. But he also encourages us to trust that its teachings provide the truth and guidance necessary for a good life.

Using the Bible as a Guide

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, all Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. And Brad believes that if we are to win the fight against technology abuse, we must completely trust God and His word.

Brad encourages us to consider whose moral guidance we choose to follow, contrasting secular values with Biblical teachings. His message is clear: to counter the negative impact of technology and its harmful actions, we must rely on God and His eternal Word.

“The Bible is my moral compass,” says Brad. “God’s Word is the lens through which I view life. For me, it is the final authority for all I think, believe and do.”

Brad incorporates Bible verses as practical guidance for addressing today’s issues, like technology misuse. Exposing these issues is only part of the solution; to truly make a lasting change requires us to fully embrace the Bible’s teachings.

Designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of the impact technology has on our lives, Techwise is available anytime on Vision’s website and app. Listen to Brad’s full message below, and don’t forget to join us for the next episode of Techwise
