This Year Is All About Spiritual Growth and Disciple Making

by | Apr 10, 2025

Group of believes practising disciple-making through prayer and bible study

Dear friends,

This year has been declared the year of spiritual growth and disciple-making. Like any journey or commitment, it’s good to understand what that means and how to get there.

Here’s a reminder of what I believe it will take for God to move in the hearts of lives in our nation:

Prayer and working together.

This means together with you, Vision will:

  1. Keep consistently bringing daily help to those who already engage with us through radio, online or print publications.
  2. Keep letting more Australians know they can access Vision. Approximately 63% of Australians are within range of a Vision radio station and 99% of Aussie adults are online. One of our greatest opportunities is simply to close this awareness gap through promotions and word of mouth.
  3. Further expand our already diverse range of media, to further grow, reach and impact more people. We’ve just launched a new Worship channel, and plans for an improved website, new podcasts, and more!
  4. Forge new partnerships with others in ministry, especially those who focus on disciple-making. We achieve so much more together than on our own (and there God commands a blessing – see Psalm 133:3)!

Individually for you, I encourage you to continue to spend time in His Word, seek Him in prayer and invest in different ways to help people look to God daily.

In Him,

Phil Edwards
Chief Executive Officer
