Bob, a sales rep and father of six and from Kelso in Queensland, finds solace and companionship listening to Vision Christian Radio as he drives between Townsville and Cairns once a week.
The four-and-a-half-hour drive he’s been doing over the past 14 years could have been a mundane routine, but it turned into a spiritual journey, thanks to the encouragement and inspiration he received over the airwaves.
‘It’s my time with the Lord, so it’s fantastic. If I’m not listening to the radio, I’m there talking with the Lord. Those 4.5 hours are just gold,’ said Bob. ‘I’m forever getting little golden nuggets from the Word.’
