‘The teaching of Your word gives light...’ Psalm 119:130 NLT
God’s Word has the answers you need, but you’ve got to read it! You say, ‘But I’m not sure where to start.’ Here are some helpful Scriptures from the New Living Translation:
When you are worried: 1 Peter 5:7—‘Give all your worries…to God…He cares about you.’ Philippians 4:6—‘Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything…’ Psalm 62:6—‘He…is my rock and my salvation…I will not be shaken…’ Isaiah 26:3—‘You…keep in perfect peace all who trust in You…whose thoughts are fixed on You!’ Deuteronomy 31:6—‘…the Lord…will…go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.’ When you are heartbroken: Psalm 147:3—‘He heals the broken hearted and bandages their wounds.’ Psalm 23:4—‘Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me…’ 2 Corinthians 1:4—‘He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others…’ Deuteronomy 33:27—‘…God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you…’ When you are feeling guilty: Acts 13:39—‘Everyone who believes in Him is declared right with God…’ 1 John 1:9—‘If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.’ Colossians 1:22—‘…you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him.’ Isaiah 1:18—‘Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow.’ Romans 8:39—‘…nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God…’ Isaiah 43:25—‘I…alone…will blot out your sins for My own sake and will never think of them again.’
