About

Dianne’s Visionathon story is one of faith, resilience and unwavering hope in God’s goodness. Even in the midst of personal tragedy.

After recently losing her husband Kevin, Dianne has been leaning on Jesus—and Vision—for strength. But speaking from bed after fracturing her ribs, she remained cheerful and full of hope. “What can a couple of fractured ribs do to me? Can’t stop me talking!” she said.

But behind her humour is a powerful story of how God’s presence—and Vision’s—are sustaining her through this season of grief. “Vision was a lifesaver for our marriage. And even now, it’s my lifeline,” Dianne said. “Every time I wake up, even at one or two in the morning, I turn it on. I do a bit of journaling in the kitchen, listening to some of the wonderful examples of people being obedient to the Lord.”

Dianne’s Visionathon Story

Dianne said that her faith and the truth she hears through Vision have brought her peace. “Where else can you turn on a station and hear the love of Jesus Christ? Where else can you be filled with truth and realise that’s what’s been missing?”

Even while she’s recovering from her fall, Dianne continues to encourage others, share her husbands testimony, and speak of Jesus whenever she can. “I gave my brother-in-law Kevin’s last copy of The Word For Today. He was so thrilled it was his brother’s.”

Bringing Hope Together

The hosts prayed over Dianne while she was on the line, asking for God’s healing and strength. “We thank You, Lord, that she will continue to proclaim Your goodness and see many people won to the kingdom.”

This is why Vision exists. Dianne’s Visionathon story is a powerful reminder of how your support reaches people right where they are—with comfort, faith, and the reminder that they’re not alone.
