Belinda from Banora Point in northern New South Wales says she’s absolutely hooked on Vision. From the moment she wakes up until she goes to sleep, Vision is part of her daily rhythm.
Hooked On Vision
“I go to sleep with Vision in my ear. I wake up with Vision. I go for walks with it. I garden with it. I just can’t live without it,” she said during Visionathon. “I’m hoping Vision will be in heaven when I get there.”
Belinda’s love for Vision goes beyond habit. It has been a lifeline in seasons of deep need. During the COVID lockdowns, Belinda and her husband had just moved to a new area. With no close friends and a new church community she hadn’t yet connected with, she felt deeply isolated. But Vision filled that gap.
“I’d listen all night and just pray and praise God,” she said. “The talks felt tailor-made for me. Every song spoke right to my situation.”
Eventually, God brought a mentor into Belinda’s life. But she says it was Vision that walked with her through the darkest parts of the journey, keeping her close to God’s presence through worship, Scripture and truth.
Jesus-Centred Living
Belinda says listening to Vision helps her stay focused on Christ throughout the day.
“The feeling and the thinking is positive. It’s like you’re living with Jesus all the time. That’s how it should be,” she said. “Even when I had an MRI recently, I asked them to play Christian music in the machine. I just want to stay surrounded by His presence.”
