This Visionathon, we are being deeply inspired by faithful givers! Chez, who joined the broadcast live from Hobart was working down south, and paused to share a powerful reflection as she looked out her window at Mount Wellington.
“I’m looking at a certain mountain with a certain tower on it,” she said. “It’s sunny and cold. And right as we were speaking, the sun started shining on the tower. It’s like God’s rays are highlighting this amazing moment.”
Chez was talking about Vision’s transmission tower, which now broadcasts across half of Tasmania. Her words also reminded listeners that Vision isn’t just about radio. It’s about God’s presence, His timing, and the faith of those who step out and give.
She remembered the day the Vision team came to Hobart. “It was a shocking cold, windy day. It was raining. But then nothing could stop you guys from making this happen, because God was behind it.”
Faith That Inspires Others
“We’ve got to keep Vision alive,” Chez said. “You guys are the real champions, and I’ll keep praying for you. We’re a family. Let’s do this.”
Vision CEO Phil Edwards reflected on the prayers that brought the Hobart tower to life. “Years ago, we stood on top of Mount Wellington and asked God for a way to reach this city. Then the licence came up, our supporters helped us win the auction, and another ministry donated the exact transmitters we needed. God provided it all.”
Because today, lives are being touched. We are being inspired by faithful givers. People who didn’t even know Vision existed are tuning in, being encouraged, and finding their way back to God.
