Around 3,000 South Australian pro-lifers have marched through Adelaide in support of unborn children. The Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) described Saturday’s (February 10) Love Adelaide Walk For Life as one of the state’s biggest rallies on the calendar, with many of the participants wearing white.
ACL state director Ashlyn Vice told the marchers that since South Australia legalised abortion-to-birth in 2021, at least seven healthy late-term babies have been killed in utero. She described it as “a truly tragic statistic.”
Ms. Vice said it contradicts “the narrative peddled by abortion advocates who claimed late-term abortions would not happen.”
She vowed that the pro-life community is motivated and activated, and “will not rest until the evil of abortion to birth has ended. 3,000 united to walk for one purpose – to tell our politicians that the value of a human life is not determined by its stage of development. A life is a life, and it must be protected.”
The ACL called on the South Australian community and its political leaders to work together to end abortion-to-birth provisions and legislate for life.
