About

Australian-born evangelist and motivational speaker Nick Vujicic has launched a faith-based alternative to traditional banking.

ProLifeFintech has been four years in the planning after Mr. Vujicic’s accounts were cancelled by a major US bank, apparently because of his Christian views, although the bank denies that.

The new institution is a financial technology company, not a bank.

It uses technology to provide financial services including banking-as-a-service to its customers.

It partners with Regent Bank which is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

ProLifeFintech provides the digital banking journey, while customers’ money is securely held at Regent Bank.

It aims to align financial services with Christian values — emphasising the sanctity of life.

Ten-percent of net profits will go to Judeo-Christian non-profit organisations that honour God.

NICK VUJICIC LAUNCHES BANKING ALTERNATIVE AFTER BEING DEBANKED

ProLifeFintech was launched in Plano, Texas near Mr Vujicic’s home earlier this month.

It operates under the sponsorship of a faith-based bank rather than holding its own charter.

This allows it to offer familiar financial technologies such as debit and credit card services, while adhering to its Christian values.

Nick Vujicic told The Christian Post: “In 2019, I was framed and cancelled for my Christian values.”

“This was well before cancel culture was introduced into our society.”

“People were so hateful that we had a grenade at our home, a false magazine article published against me, a lawsuit threat, and a drone spying on my family and me.”

“This culminated in me being cancelled by Chase Bank without cause.”

While he was never told why Chase Bank ended its business relationship with him, he believes he was targeted because of his conservative Christian views along with a social media following of about 16 million people.

PRO-LIFE PARTNER APPROACHES MR VUJICIC ABOUT A “BANK FOR BELIEVERS”

Just before that happened, Betsy Gray had approached him about the idea of a “bank for believers.”

He explained that Ms. Gray “had been managing a women’s medical clinic that honours the sanctity of unborn life.”

“The clinic felt guilty about making deposits to a bank which it knew donated to the abortion industry.”

She was shocked that every bank and credit union she reached out to, philanthropically supported America’s biggest abortion provider Planned Parenthood.

Then Chase Bank cancelled Mr. Vujicic.

“The Lord was clearly saying to me: Now, are you ready to start My bank with Betsy?”

“Several years later, here we are, building something we’re incredibly passionate about.”

PLEDGE THAT CUSTOMERS’ MONEY WILL BE INVESTED IN CHRISTIAN VALUES

“Had I not been cancelled by my bank, I may not have co-founded ProLifeFintech,” he admitted.

“It was through that experience that I realised the urgent need for a secure, values-driven financial alternative, because no one should ever be cancelled for their conservative beliefs.”

He vowed that people of faith who bank with ProLifeFintech can have the confidence that their money will never be used to invest in organisations with values that run contrary to their own.

“I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t want to put my money in a bank knowing that they could use it to donate to organisations that don’t value the sanctity of life,” he told The Christian Post.

“I want to know that my money, God’s money, is in a bank that honours God, serves people, and always chooses to support life — all human life.”

At this stage ProLifeFintech is only available in all 50 US states.
