A woman has come up a creative way to reach chocolate lovers with the Gospel.
Shelley Obilam created the Scripture Sweets company, which puts the Word of God on the packaging of chocolate bars and other sweet treats.
They are then bundled together into a book shaped box to remind people of the Bible, with a red ribbon that can also be used as a bookmark.
She told Christian Newswire, the idea came to her when she was looking for a new way to share the Gospel with her Sunday School class.
She figured that the children would find it hard to resist the chocolate but also get a biblical education at the same time.
Ms Obilam says it’s a great conversation starter and carries out the command to preach the Gospel to all nations.
The Scriptures and packaging are tailored depending on the occasion, with Mothers Day, Easter, Christmas, and birthday editions proving popular.
