David’s Visionathon story is one of music, and encouragement. A longtime listener and monthly supporter, David has seen first-hand how Vision can impact lives. Starting with his own family.
“I’ve been listening every day for years,” David said. “It’s helped me through different circumstances and tough times. Jeff Vines, Neil’s devotions, the podcasts. It’s very insightful. And the music’s great too.”
Keeping Hearts Encouraged
Years ago, when David began giving monthly to Vision, it caught his wife Joanne’s attention. “She realised I was serious. Now she listens too,” he said. Joanne had been sceptical at first, but once she tuned in, the change was noticeable. “She saw how professional it was. The music. The stories. It all encouraged her.”
Both David and Joanne have been Christians since the late ’90s, bonded early on by a shared love of music. David played in a Christian rock band, and Joanne is a music teacher. Now Vision is part of their daily rhythm, keeping their faith strong and their hearts encouraged.
Reaching People Everywhere
David’s Vision story doesn’t just stop with him. He regularly shares Vision with others, especially those who feel hurt by the Church or disconnected from faith.
“There are people who’ve stepped back from church. I always point them to Vision. It brings church into their homes and shares stories of hope. And I’ve seen it make a real difference.”
David’s faithful giving and gentle encouragement is helping others draw near to Jesus through the power of Christian radio.
