Cynthia is a mother from Caboolture in Queensland, who never expected a simple radio change to transform her daily routine. Frustrated with commercial stations and looking for more meaningful content for her teenage children, Cynthia stumbled across Vision on her car’s DAB radio. ‘It feels like a lifetime ago that I listened to anything else but Vision,’ she says.
Before finding Vision, Cynthia felt a bit stressed and disconnected, with commercial radio adding to the noise in her life. It also made it harder to connect with her kids. Discovering Vision was like finding some peace in the chaos, offering content that felt just right. She describes it as a ‘Goldilocks’ moment.
‘It’s accessible and not intimidating,’ says Cynthia. ‘I feel like I can really reach out and understand the scriptures.’ As a teacher, she started memorising scripture and it gave her a new understanding of her students’ hard work. But Vision also deepened her faith and brought her family closer, inspiring her kids through fun games and meaningful car rides together.
‘They often grumble, but now they’re picking up snippets of wisdom,’ says Cynthia. ‘It’s amazing to see them grow. Vision has made scripture really inclusive and accessible, which is wonderful.’
Cynthia’s story is a testament to how Vision is advancing the Gospel together, fostering stronger family bonds and spiritual growth. As Visionathon approaches its final steps, Cynthia urges others to join in now. ‘Give $365 today and ensure Vision continues to inspire and uplift families like mine.’
