Priscilla’s journey with fibromyalgia has been anything but easy. Diagnosed in 2016, she felt her world crumble as invisible pain took over her life. ‘I felt like the rug was pulled from under me,’ she says. ‘What I’ve learned from fibromyalgia is that it’s trauma-based. So I had to learn where that trauma stems from.’
Living with an invisible illness left Priscilla feeling alone and misunderstood. She wrestled with self-doubt, unforgiveness, and past trauma. But everything began to change when she discovered Vision. ‘Vision has played a role in my journey everywhere I go,’ she says. ‘It’s on my iPad, on my phone and it’s on in my car.’
Through Vision, Priscilla felt like she connected with a supportive community that kept her faith strong. ‘It’s helped me learn what a relationship with God is. Jesus brings people onto your path. That’s the thing, not to give up. He will bring someone across your path, and I’ve had angels walking next to me.’
One of the things that means the most to Priscilla is that her daughter also listens to Vision, on the way to school in the car and through her headphones going to basketball games. ‘That just shows you the ripple effect,’ she says. ‘Especially when her friends ask her what she’s listening to.’
Priscilla’s story shows how faith can bring people together. Vision’s daily messages and uplifting songs gave her the strength to face her challenges. Her daughter’s involvement helped spread faith throughout their family. ‘You are not alone,’ she says.
